Typing this from a Droid. Keyboard is surprisingly usable, far better than I anticipated. Not flying like I would on a Tour, but the error rate here should speak for itself. Very few strikes of the backspace key.

This is definitelly a winner.

New every 2 is an awesome deal. I still remember a friend telling me how companies would only give you a free (or reduced price) phone the first time you signed up with one, and that after that if you ever switched out and back they would charge you the full price for the phone. What scared me is that by that time I had already been with Nextel and T-Mobile. I figured that if I switched just a few more times I'd never be able to afford a nice phone.

Looks like I'll be getting a phone tomorrow, probably a Droid (still debating on the Blackberry; Tour with WiFi would be a winner for me). I got a call from my mom last night (whose contract my wife and I will be under) saying that she just killed her cell phone and needs a new one no later than Friday. Hopefully they won't sell out before about 2pm tomorrow.

Great run-down of Droid speak! hehe
I too am readying myself for the jump from Dumbphone to Smartphone and would prefer to stay with Verizon and the Droid looks like the best bet. I'm up for new every two in December so I'll have some time to see what develops and to go play with one once they're released but I am liking what I see.
