		<description>I read over the rankings, and I find them suspicious at best. First of all the U.S. ranks below Jamaica. Jamaica is a police-state that has assassinated journalists for writing articles exposing human rights abuses against gays &amp; lesbians in Jamaica. 

And what exactly is free press? and how free should it be? A few of the countries on the top of that list think &quot;kiddie porn&quot; is freedom of the press. Maybe being #1 in this case, isn&#039;t such a good thing.
