The Wife and I are planning to go on vacation for the week between Christmas and New Year’s (as I mentioned before in the previous post). Never mind the fact that I haven’t taken a vacation in two years, the simple fact was that I felt guilty for taking the time off, as if I was taking it off for no good reason (other than keeping The Wife happy, which is always a great reason to do anything), since I didn’t feel I had earned it. Despite my other recent ventures, it was this acceptance note that finally made me feel as if yes, I had accomplished something worthwhile this year.
