The Living Spirit That Is the “Why”

Frankly, I think this makes for a great thought as we begin to formulate our New Year’s resolutions:

Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Stumbling around the Internet, I found this and thought it worth reprinting here. It’s the United Nation’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights, one of the cornerstone documents of the United Nations.

Read through it and see whether your government is violating any of these principles. You might be surprised (especially if you live in the U.S. and have been keeping tabs on the entire “use of torture” debates).

You’ve Got to Find What You Love

This is the text of the Commencement address by Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, delivered on June 12, 2005.

I am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. I never graduated from college.
